Laura Mylan leads external relations for the Children & Nature Network, an international NGO that envisions a world in which all children play, learn and grow with nature in their everyday lives. The Children & Nature Network leads a global movement to increase equitable access to nature so that children —and natural places — can thrive. The organization invests in leadership and communities through sharing evidence-based resources, scaling innovative solutions and driving policy change. Laura has spent the past 25 years helping public, private and nonprofit organizations define issues and advance causes. Prior to the Children & Nature Network, she led community relations for the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation, an urban planning and design agency charged with transforming the Mississippi Riverfront in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, and for the City of Saint Paul’s Planning and Economic Development Department.
