President, Habidatum, Russia
Alexei Novikov is the President of Habidatum, an urban researcher, and entrepreneur. Prior to Habidatum, he was a Managing Director at Standard & Poor’s and Thomson Reuters and the Dean of the HSE Graduate School of Urbanism. He was also a consultant with the World Bank and other international financial organizations on infrastructure finance. Alexei holds a Ph. D. in Regional and Urban Studies. He has been a research fellow and visiting professor of urban science in American and European universities. Besides Habidatum Alexei launched two successful startups: EA-Ratings (acquired by Standard Poor’s) and Geograffity.
