Landscape engineer, former Head of the Department of the Gardening and Park Service of Zaryadye Park, Russia
Igor Safiullin is a landscape engineer. From 2000 to 2015, he was a leading design engineer in the landscape bureau ’Ilya Mochalov and Partners’ and, as a part of the team, he won several national prizes in the field of landscape architecture for projects in a social sphere as well as for projects of green roofs and private residences.
During the construction and launch of the Zaryadye Park, he headed the Department of the Gardening and Park Service. In 2016-2017, he was a member of the working group that formulated the document that regulated the creation and maintenance of greenspaces of the park.
Currently, he is a representatives of the Lorberg Plant Nursery (Germany) in Russia and teaches a bachelor course at the Department of Garden and Park Construction „Regeneration and greening of urban courtyards and boulevards“.
