Pavel Stepantsov is a managing partner of the Synopsis Group and a lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the Moscow School of Economics and Social Policy. Since 2013, he has been engaged in research on the urban environment and problems of the development of urban spaces. He is a co-author of the research «Audit of the Cultural Life of Moscow», «Mechanics of Moscow», dedicated to assessing the quality of the urban environment of Moscow districts, etc.
He received an MA in sociology at Manchester University.
