Anthony Trail is a Senior Manager for Open Space and Recreation at the Port Phillip region of Melbourne (Australia), which is responsible for some of Australia’s most iconic urban parks, public spaces and foreshore. Furthermore, Melbourne is recognised as one of the most liveable cities in the world and considers itself the sporting capital of the world.
Anthony is responsible for planning, creating, building, maintaining and activating urban public spaces so they are locally loved and globally admired. The City of Port Phillip is experiencing rapid urban growth requiring the public spaces to be more welcoming to cater for increased use as they become residents’ backyards.
