Senior Architect and Project Manager at WEST 8, the Netherlands
Juan Tur is a senior architect and project manager at dutch firm WEST 8 Urban design and Landscape architecture, with fifteen years of experience in the design and implementation of large-scale urban regeneration projects with a special focus on public space and landscape design. In his work in West 8, Mr. Tur has been leading and coordinating the design and construction of numerous world-class parks and public spaces in Spain like the Madrid RIO Manzanares Park and the Linear Park La Sagrera-Sant Andreu in Barcelona, as well as abroad, like the Gulangyu Landscape Masterplan in Xiamen, China, or the Central Park in Voronezh, Russia. Since 2013, Mr. Tur has been in charge of the Masterplan and Landscape Design of the Redevelopment of New Holland Island in Saint Petersburg, (Russia).
Alongside his activity with West 8, Mr. Tur has his own practice WALK Architecture & Landscape, which has been awarded the first prizes in several international competitions.
