Aide to the Minister of Urban Regeneration of the Moscow Region, Russia
Yuri Sheredega is an aide to the Minister of Urban Regeneration of the Moscow region. He is an architect, urbanist, and expert on public space development and heritage preservation. From 2012 to 2015, he worked at the Citymakers bureau and Institute for the Development of Territories. He is one of the finalists and winners of major Russian and international architectural competitions, including the International Design Competition for Zaryadye Park as a part of the Diller Scofidio + Renfro consortium. He was also a finalist of the competition for the development of the Moskva River Basin, competition for the renovation of residential quarters in Moscow in the framework of the Renovation Programme, the competition Common Ruins for the reconstruction of the French castle Mothe Chandeniers, the competition for the creation of Dream Apartment co-living in China, as well as the competition for the development of a project for the reconstruction of the Holy Week Square in Sofia.
