Naila Zinnatullina began her career in the Kazan branch of the Finnish construction concern YIT after graduating from Kazan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2015. She was invited to the team of the Assistant to the President after proposing the idea of improving the central part of the city, the embankment of the Kazanka River. Since 2017, she has been supervising the implementation of the federal priority project „Formation of comfortable urban environment“ in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republican Program for the Development of Public Spaces of the Republic of Tatarstan, and since 2018 — the competition for the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historic settlements. Over three years, within the framework of these programs 189 objects were created and 8 of the most significant awards were received. Among them are the All-Russian Archiwood Award, the Martela EdDesign Awards, the International Aga Khan Award in the field of architecture, the International Planning Excellence Awards 2019, the Sustainable City Award, and the Award of ArchDaily, the most recognized online magazine in the field of architecture, etc.
